Dear Community,
We are excited to announce the Call for Contributions for the ELIA Biennial Conference on 20-23 November 2024, hosted by Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, Italy. We invite students and staff from the Ukrainian community to submit their applications and become part of the conversation.
ELIA Biennial 2024 explores the theme “Arts Plural”, challenging participants to define artistic intelligence and ways in which it shapes the current reality – and what structures are necessary for artistic intelligence to play a role in addressing planetary problems.
Who can apply?
Lecturers, researchers, artists, senior managers, administrators, international officers, and supporting and technical staff members, are welcome to submit proposals. Artists, cultural organizations, researchers, arts and cultural sector professionals, producers, curators, makers, and technical staff are all welcome to apply in collaboration with ELIA member institutions.
We specifically welcome student-led contributions
and endeavor to support selected students with bursaries to make their trip to Milan possible.

How to apply?
- Complete the following form.
- In the form, you will be asked to submit the following information: your contact details, presentation title, format description (if you wish to submit an academic paper, please note that, if selected, you will have to provide the final version one month before the start of the conference. The paper will be published and shared with participants before the event), discipline(s) (artistic and/or non-artistic), a description (max. 300 words), a two-minute video presenting the idea for the contribution, biography, and technical requests.
