In January the 46th International Circus Festival is in full swing in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Circus talents from around the globe have gathered to compete for the prestigious titles of “Golden…,” “Silver…,” or “Bronze Clown.”
Just to clarify, think of it as the circus world’s equivalent of the “Oscars”!
The festival starts on January 19, 2024, graced by the presence of Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco.
This festival is the grand finale of the centennial celebration of Prince Rainier III (1923-2023), who founded the festival, and also commemorates 50 years since its inception (1974-2024)!
Our Academy proudly joins the festivities as a partner and participant this year! Under the guidance of our alumna, partner, and friend, Irina Herman, students and graduates from the Academy, part of the “Bingo” theater, are taking center stage to open and close the festival!
