We are thrilled to announce that the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Circus and Performing Arts in Ukraine has officially become a member of the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA). KMACPA is joining ELIA’s transformative UAx Platform, which is dedicated to supporting art students and higher arts education institutions in Ukraine.
By joining the UAx Platform, KMAECPA will play a crucial role in establishing the UAx Sister School network, facilitating connections between Ukrainian higher arts institutions and ELIA members across Europe.
As part of this exciting collaboration, KMACPA will receive ELIA membership subsidies for 2024 and 2025, allowing active participation in ELIA’s international events and engagement with a robust community of over 280 higher arts education institutions from Europe and beyond. To kick-start this engagement, we are delighted to invite KMACPA to the ELIA Leadership Symposium in Manchester in October 2023.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that KMAECPA students will have the opportunity to participate in the UAx Abakanowicz Fellowship Programme next year. This initiative will provide them with bursaries, reciprocal mentorship, and access to a vibrant UAx community to support their studies in Ukraine.
